يستكمل عملية توصيل الكهرباء استعدادا للافتتاح

البيرة، البالوع 25 كانون الثاني، قامت اليوم الشركة العربية الفلسطينية لمراكز التسوق م.ع.م بتدشين محطة الكهرباء الرئيسية في مشروع مركز بلازا للتسوق، تحتوي هذه المحطة على محولين كهربائيين بقدرة 1000 كيلو فولت أمبير لكل منهما، كما تعمل هذه المحطة على تغذية أقسام المشروع جميعها عن طريق غرفة توزيع رئيسية تحتوي على ثلاث مساهمات بقدرة 1600 أمبير، 630 أمبير، 400 أمبير على التوالي.

كما قامت الشركة بتوفير وتجهيز مولد كهرباء احتياطي ضخم، يعمل هذا المولد في حال انقطاع التيار الكهربائي ويغطي إنارة وخدمات المشروع الموزعة على الطوابق الثلاث، وبذلك تكون الشركة قد شارفت على الافتتاح والبدء بالتشغيل خلال الاشهر القليلة القادمة.

وقد أثنى مدير عام الشركة، السيد سام بحور على الجهود المميزة التي بذلها ائتلاف CCC / عسيلي للمقاولات وشركة أربتك – جردانه المشرفة على المشروع في تحقيق هذا الحدث الهام، وأعرب عن تقديره الشديد للتعاون الذي أبدته شركة كهرباء محافظة القدس في هذا الصدد.

مشروع مركز بلازا للتسوق هو أول مشاريع الشركة العربية الفلسطينية لمراكز التسوق م.ع.م، ويقع على مقربة من وزارة التخطيط والتعاون الدولي تم بناءه على مساحة 7,5 دونم؛ ذلك المشروع الذي واجه الكثير من التحديات بفعل الظرف السياسي العام، ابتداء من الاحتلال الفعلي لمنطقة المشروع في مطلع العام الماضي، وانتهاء باحتجاز مطول لمعدات ضرورية لاستكمال أحد مرافق المشروع في ميناء أشدود.

يحتوي المشروع على عدة أقسام، أهمها سوبرماركت حديث وشامل بمساحة تبلغ حوالي 2000 متر مربع، سيتم العمل على إشغال هذه المساحة بسلسلة كبيرة من مواد البقالة، ومنتجات الألبان، والمأكولات واللحوم المجمدة، ومواد التنظيف، وتخصيص قسم كبير للحوم والأسماك الطازجة، وقسم آخر للخضار والفواكه، ومخبز حديث لإنتاج الخبز والحلويات الغربية بمختلف أنواعها. وستحرص الشركة على أن تكون الأسعار في هذا السوبرماركت معقولة جدا، لتحقق بذلك تقديم خدمات مميزة وبأسعار في متناول الجميع.

القسم الآخر المميز في المشروع هو منطقة داخلية لألعاب الأطفال، عملت إدارة الشركة على تصميمها بشكل خاص تسعد به قلوب الأطفال الصغار، بمساحة كبيرة نسبيا تبلغ حوالي 600 متر مربع، تتوقع الشركة لهذه المنطقة اجتذاب أعداد كبيرة من الأطفال وعائلاتهم لقلة مثيلاتها في المنطقة.

كما تشكل المحلات التجارية المطروحة للإيجار في المشروع جزء رئيسي في بنية المركز، حيث تتوزع هذه المحلات على الطابق الأرضي و الطابق الأول بمساحات متباينة تناسب مختلف أنواع النشاطات الخدماتية سواء كانت مطاعم أو مقاهي أو محلات تتجر بأنواع متنوعة من السلع والخدمات، لتشكل مع بقية أقسام المشروع بيئة تسوق متكاملة تقدم كل ما يحتاجه المتسوق على الإطلاق في مكان واحد، غاية في الراحة والتميز.

أشارت السيدة ثائرة كراجة، مديرة التسويق في الشركة إلى "أن تحقيق هذا الإنجاز الكبير جعل الشركة في وضع أفضل يمكننا من التجاوب مع الطلبات الكثيرة التي تلقتها الشركة لاستئجار محلات في المشروع." انتهى

Despite deteriorating political and economic conditions,
Plaza Shopping Center Connects Electricity in Preparation for Operations

(Al-Bireh, Jan 25) - The Arab Palestinian Shopping Centers P.L.C. (PSE:PLAZA) inaugurated today its electric power station located at its Plaza Shopping Center in Al-Bireh. The station is comprised of two 1,000 KVA transformers that provide electric power to the project by way of a main electrical room which houses three electric panels, 1,600 ampere, 630 ampere and 400 ampere, respectively. Likewise, PLAZA installed a standby 450 KVA generator that serves the 9,000-sqm, three storey shopping center with electricity in case of interruptions. Company management noted that this achievement paves the way for operations to commence in the coming few months.

PLAZA General Manager, Mr. Sam Bahour, commended the fruitful efforts of the contractor, CCC and Osaily Contracting in joint venture, as well as the project supervision team from Arabtech–Jardaneh. Mr. Bahour also expressed deep gratitude to the Jerusalem District Electricity Co. for their full cooperation in achieving this milestone.

The Al-Bireh Plaza Shopping Center is the first of five shopping centers the company intends to establish in Palestine. The Al-Bireh project is established on 7.5 dunums of land and is located next to the Ministry of Planning building in the Al–Balou’ neighborhood. The project persevered in the face of serious challenges inflicted by the Israeli re-occupation, regular military closures and strict travel restrictions on people and materials.

The anchor tenant at Plaza Shopping Center will be the firm’s own 2,000 sqm independent supermarket that will offer a full line of consumer products, fresh meats, produce, dairy, deli, frozen foods, bakery, bulk foods, cleaning products, housewares, and a healthy mix of locally manufactured and foreign goods. PLAZA’s supermarket aims to offer competitive prices and distinguished value-added services to its customers.

The second core tenant, also to be operated by PLAZA, is a 600 sqm modern indoor children play area, which is expected to play a significant role in assisting parents in coping with the hard conditions facing Palestinian children living under Israeli occupation.

In addition to the two businesses PLAZA will operate, an additional 30 retail outlets are planned to be rented to a variety of quality retailers. This retail space, for which tenant applications are currently being received, are located on two retail floors and are available in various formats -- sit-down restaurants, fast food court outlets, open café, kiosks, and open and closed retail stores -- that meet the needs of different business activities. PLAZA yearns to create a first of its kind in Palestine retail shopping environment that satisfies all shopping needs under one roof.

PLAZA Marketing Manager, Thaira Karajeh, noted that, “With this significant accomplishment, we are now better positioned to respond to the many prospective tenants who have expressed interest in renting space in the Plaza Shopping Center.”
